* For all practical exams, there will be a mix of identification and integrative questions. Identification question will count for 1 point and integrative questions will count for 2 points in calculating the final grade.
EXAMS: your knowledge and understanding of the neurosciences will be assessed by a series of written exams, practical exams and quizzes. These are listed above, along with the approximate number of questions per exam.
The cut off for each grade (H, HS, S, U) is determined each year based on a variety of factors. Usually, a grade of 90% or above results in Honors, and in past classes, approximately 25% of students have been awarded Honors. Students must score at least 70% to pass. Students whose grade is U for the overall course grade will be required to repeat the entire course, either at the University of Vermont, Nebraska, or DUCOM Summer Course, or the following year. No remediation exam is offered. No make-up exam is offered.
The End of Module Written Exam on May 29th will include 20 questions which assume a knowledge of the entire course material. There is no "must-pass" exam.
Institutional Policy for missed exams, quizzes or superquizzes will be adhered
to.
