Life’s
a song
You don’t get to rehearse.
And every single verse
Can make it that much worse.
Song: life’s a show, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer Musical Episode (don't miss it!!!! TV doesn't get much better than that... ok, South Park is up there too! - but that's cable....)
Dr. Hyde and the Corruptors played the Philly area living room scene, and few gigs at John Harvard's pub and the Lamplighter!
in L to R order; Doc. Bob, Doc. Don, Doc. Gian and Doc. Jack - not shown is the latest addition to the wackyness, Doc. Fred the drummer. The band has since split up as members went off on different projects.
I also played for a while with Vinyl Skyy, a great coverband for your parties and events in the general Philly area. Give'em a buzz.
Currently I am playing with a new band ("DON'T ASK"), all original material, all punk rock. We're just building our set for now and having a blast. For some samples of our tunage check out our myspace page (PS: if you are easily offended, then you may be offended).
...and for some aural enhancement check out my Embryology buddy from Chicago
and his TANDA
also check out the live feed from Drexel’s very own student run radio station WKDU
or give WOXY a listen for some musak before it becomes trendy
to review the basics of logical fallacies take a lesson from Beavis and Butthead
For some Italian singer-song writer excellence check out Francesco Guccini (original site in
Italian in English).
And don’t forget to check out WarCraft III for a great way to waste
your time... and an even better way to waste your time is playing ROME!!!!
Who are scientists? see what kids think!
The next generation of Gallo in utero - to be raised on a solid diet of punk rock, ska and science..
Nature imitating nature: The pictures below are of spontaneously developed patterns in ice melting at the end of winter.... sure look like cultured neurons! The thermal power of rotting leaves? (note each neuron has a leaf in its "nucleus").
