Gallo Laboratory Web Page
The laboratory investigates the role
of the cytoskeleton in axon extension and retraction during development and regeneration. We are
interested in all things related to the mechanisms of axon extension and
guidance. A current focus of the laboratory is the regulation of the
cytoskeleton by extra-cellular guidance cues, and the relevant signaling
pathways. Live imaging, molecular, biochemical and pharmacological approaches
are utilized to investigate these issues.
